Another specialized product for cleaning a sheepskin coat is rubber. They are very similar to erasers, in fact, they are used in the same way, except that these are special for cleaning skin. Their use is a little less aggressive than the brush, since they serve to dry clean the coat at home, but you must avoid rubbing the garment excessively so as not to damage the skin, nor abuse the use of rubber.

Many people usually use the eraser to clean the fur coat, but it is not as effective as it is not a specialized product. It is better to make the investment to extend the useful life of the garment for as long as possible.

There are also special soap solutions for lapped skin. Some of them generate a foam that must be removed with a damp cloth and then let the coat dry normally. In any case, the solution should not be applied with pressure, but rather by rubbing lightly and with the help of a sponge.

When the coat becomes slightly stained or soiled and urgent cleaning is required, the best thing to do is moisten a piece of cloth with water and pass it over the stain towards the fur of the coat. If you have more time, the ideal is to moisten a piece of cloth with vinegar, wait for it to dry and then pass the special brush for leather back in the direction of hair growth.

An extreme but effective measure to clean a coat at home is use a piece of sandpaper. The stain must be small and the cleaning process must be quick and very careful, as it may end up damaging the fabric. It is only recommended to use this method if the stain cannot be removed any other way.

When finished, you can use the soft bristle brush to restore the area that has been sanded.

If the stain is grease, cleaning the sheepskin coat will require more complex measures: you can take a part of ammonia diluted in two of water, soak a soft bristle brush and pass it over the stain without rubbing or applying excessive pressure. Afterwards, the coat is dried away from sunlight.

If the stain is recent, you can apply powders talc or salt gross so that it absorbs the fat.
