How to clean your Vans shoes

Brush dirt and dust from your vans shoes with a soft toothbrush. Be sure to get into the cracks and crevices of the rubber sole. Pour one tablespoon of detergent or dish soap into a sink or bucket with three cups of water. Dip the brush into the soapy mixture and scrub the sides, and bottom of the rubber of the soles of your sneakers.

Refill the sink or bucket with cold water. Add 2 to 3 tablespoons of detergent to the water. Submerge your Van’s of canvas in the water and let soak for 15 minutes. Remove dirt stains with the soft toothbrush. Drain the old water and refill the sink with cold water. Soak your Vans again to remove the soap.

Remove the cords from the pool. Rinse the laces with cold water to remove the detergent. Place the laces on top of a towel to dry.

Pour sodium bicarbonate inside your Vans to deodorize. Leave the baking soda for 24 hours. Brush away the baking soda particles with a dry toothbrush.
