Steps to follow:

Fill a large pot 1/2 to 3/4 full with water. Place the pot over medium heat.

Add 3 tablespoons of soda carbonate for every liter of water that is in the boat. Stir the soda into the water with a large metal spoon. Keep stirring periodically until the soda dissolves in the water.

Bring the contents of the pot to a boil. Submerge clothes that you are washing in the boat. Do not refill the bottle. Clothing should have room to move and shake easily.

Let your clothes boil over medium heat for 30 to 45 minutes. Remove the pot from the heat and let the clothes soak in the pot until the water has cooled.

Remove clothing from pot. Wash clothes as normal. Before drying, check if any stains or dirt is gone. If the clothes are still stained or dirty, repeat the cooking and washing process.
