How to remove gum from a shoe
One of the most unpleasant things that can happen to you while you are walking calmly down the street is stepping on a piece of gum. No matter how much you try to scrape it with a curb or remove it with a piece of paper, the gum will still be there, sticking to all the dirt on the street. At FoxWiki we have the perfect method to help you in this situation and teach you how to remove gum from shoe.
Steps to follow:
1
The best way to remove gum stuck to your shoe is to use the cold method. Don’t worry about the type of material on the sole of your shoe, since this method can be used to remove gum from any material without damaging it.
2
The first thing you should do is scrape, with a butter knife, as much gum as you can from the sole of your shoe. Never use a sharp knife as you could damage your shoe.
3
The next step you should follow to remove the gum is to put the shoe in a plastic bag. Make sure you press the bag firmly against the gum.
4
Put the bag with your shoe in the freezer for about an hour, until the gum freezes.
5
When you take the shoe out of the freezer and remove the plastic bag, the gum should stick to the bag, completely detaching itself from your shoe. If any gum remains on the sole of your shoe, rub a little hydrogen peroxide to delete it.
6
If by some chance you don’t have enough room in your freezer, you can also remove the gum from your shoe by scrubbing an Ice Cube through the gum until it is completely frozen and falls on its own.
